Leading up to the Wedding
I want to know every wedding day detail.
Before your big day, we have lots of chats about all things wedding-related- whatever you want to share will help me capture your wedding day.
Whatever is important to you, becomes important to me.
Before your day, I do all the prep to ensure I come prepared and ready to roll! We create a timeline and a shot list together, I read about how you and your fiancé met, and I get to know your style, the kind of celebration you are planning, and all the special details.
Your Photographer on Your Wedding Day
When it finally comes time for you to get ready and walk down that aisle, I am right by your side (not literally in that moment haha) but my presence will always be— caring, calm, and collected.

When you’re living in the moment and let go of the details, that may or may not be happening around you, you can truly live out the happiest day of your life.
I am a well-prepared, go-with-the-flow gal! If we are a few minutes behind schedule, we won’t stress. The day is about you and what you need. I do my best work when brides barely know I am there!
Special Attention to Your Wedding Day
As your photographer, I know that if you are truly enjoying every moment of your wedding day, the photographs you receive feel genuine, real, and full of memories.
I am also an artist.
Your wedding photos should be filled with raw emotion, intimate moments, and true memories. I am in the corner, watching for intimate moments of sharing tears with family and friends, or the little stolen glances between you and your fiancé. These photographs are more than just images and posed pictures— they are your forever memories.
You won’t ever find me interrupting an intimate moment to get the perfect shot. We won’t pause to fluff your dress or redo a moment at a different angle (unless it’s a posed portrait). Trust me, you want the real and the raw. I promise if your hair is looking a bit wild or is totally blocking your face, I always help a girl out, but there is no reason for me to interrupt the intimacy or emotion. I will wait for you to feel your feels before inserting myself!
Posing Couples on Their Wedding Day
When it comes to posing, prompting, and styling all those wedding day portraits, my goal is to make you comfortable! I might tell my couples to go a walk and talk about their favorite memory so far, while I hang back and shoot from afar. I will prompt you to do all of the cute couple things if that’s your vibe, but we always go for the natural and candid moments of you loving on your boo, spinning around, or snuggling.
Of course, if you dig the editorial, posed portrait style — then that is 100% what we will do! If you don’t want to take any portraits and would rather focus on the candids, I’m your girl! Remember, it is YORU DAY! I want each of my client’s galleries to reflect their wedding day and their personalities. I have a natural, true-to-color editing style and a love for documentary-style shooting. If you stay true to your desires for your wedding day your gallery will be full of unique images that TRULY reflect you, your fiancé, because there is only one version of you two out there so me capturing your ‘real’ is going to always look different than the next persons in the best way possible.
What Your Wedding Photographer Is Not
I am your cheerleader the whole day behind the lens but here’s one thing to keep in mind… while I am being your photographer, your hype girl, your confidant, and your calming voice, I cannot also be your wedding planner!
I love an organized wedding as much as the next girl. And I promise I will know the flow of your wedding day. But I am not your wedding planner or day-of coordinator!
My role for the day is to hype you up, cheer you on, and capture the most incredible day of your life.
Sure, I help guide you through family portraits and get your mother-in-law in the right place. But if I need to track people down constantly, watch the clock, and make sure dinner is served on time— then I will miss some of the genuine laughter and shared smiles that is happening on your day.
What Your Wedding Day is All About
Ultimately, your wedding day is NOT about the photos.
There. I said it. It’s not about entertaining your guests. It’s not about pleasing your parents.
Your wedding day is about celebrating and expressing your love for each other and inviting people into a space to do the same.
My role as your photographer is to ensure that you can be present, have fun, and celebrate every moment of your day without worrying about what looks good or which moments are being captured because that’s my job.
