Every season is worth documenting. I am here for the dirty toddlers, goofy laughter, and cheesy smiles. Children run the show. I am not going to make your son stand there, hands in his pockets for 10 minutes, forcing a smile at my camera.
The goal of these sessions is to stop time for a few minutes so that in 15 years from now, when you're sending your baby off to college, you don't just remember their bouncing curls, you have photographs of the fierce Batman impression they used to make.
The stress is off of you, mom, to make your kids 'look good' for family portraits. Just let them play. Once everyone is warmed up, we will make sure to get one good portrait of everyone looking at the camera.
These sessions are for the families, couples, and individuals who want a gallery that truly reflects themselves, not some Sunday-morning dressed-up ideal version of themselves.

How do documentary-style family sessions work?
A celebration of the mundane, in-between, and the good ol' days.
These sessions include: however long we need (about 1-2 hours) of shooting, 1-2 locations, 1-2 outfits, 100+ edited digital memories (images), session planning & wardrobe guides, a consultation meeting with me.
Types of sessions are: birth, maternity, newborn, fresh-48, couples, anniversary, in-home session, a day-in-the-life session, adventure session, individuals, personal branding.

I backup all of your images immediately. Then, I cull, edit and deliver all of the beautiful images from your session to you via an online gallery. You will receive the emailed link and have access to view the gallery, send it to friends and family, download all of the high-resolution images, and order professional prints.
