10 out of 10 recommend getting married at The Garden of the Gods in Colorado. The Wempe’s did it up right in the most intimate and breath-taking way.
A Special Elopement in Colorado
Only the couple’s nearest and dearest friends and family were in attendance, making every moment special and serene. The day was relaxed, calm, joy-filled, and beautiful in every way.
The bride got ready with her daughter and the groom with his soon-to-be son, sharing special moments and including the kids in every moment of the day. The four of them were already a tight-knit little family, even before the vows took place.
In a quiet moment away from their friends and family, they read their vows to one another. The two kids joined in and it was time for family portraits in all their fancy wedding clothes. The Gardens make the most beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. The kids climbed all over their parents as we snapped family pics.
Intimate Ceremony After Private Vow Reading
Later, the bride’s son walked her down the aisle for an intimate ceremony at Garden of the Gods. Their guests stood around them as they said ‘I do’ with the stunning Colorado mountains in the background. The couple walked back down the aisle but couldn’t go far without all the hugs from their people. Family portraits included nearly everyone on the guest list of their intimate wedding.
Next the bride and groom and all their guests headed to the Phantom Canyon Brewing Company to celebrate.

The Garden of the Gods made a STUNNING backdrop for all the portraits. I just couldn’t get enough! Not only was I capturing the cutest newlyweds, and the most precious little family uniting, but also the epic landscape and gorgeous colors surrounding us all day.
